Bringing God’s love to our suffering world
Resurrection Episcopal Church combines the traditions of the Episcopal church with a modern sensibility that leads us to serve the needs of the greater community as Christ would have. Instead of owning a building, we rent space from the First United Methodist Church in Gilbert. That means we can spend time on our two primary missions rather than managing facilities. Our missions are:

-
Nurturing our congregation with Sunday worship, opportunities for fellowship, and love for each other.
-
Nourishing the East Valley community by supporting partners that address poverty, food security, houselessness, veterans with PTSD, educational challenges and sick and traumatized children.

SPREADING JOY, LOVE, AND COMPASSION
Our vibrant mission and clear sense of purpose means that we seek to be a beacon of hope and compassion in the Gilbert and Metro Phoenix area. We are a faith community that welcomes everyone, just as you are, and we value diversity and respect the dignity of every human being.
Most weeks we post a pre-recorded service with the readings appointed for Sunday, and a reflection on the readings, plus music and prayers. Take a look at this video to get a feel for what we are up to:
